Big Rivalry and Free Stuff!!

So for those of you outside of the state of Utah you may not realize that tomorrow is the biggest football game of the season. Round these parts when the BYU Cougars play the University of Utah Utes most of the state to come to a complete stand still. So tomorrow for a few hours starting at 4pm I may be heard screaming at the TV, possibly crying but hopefully hollering with joy.

The last two years the better team and school has won with FANTASTIC final plays of the game. My blood pressure could hardly handle it.

In honor of this great rivalry my kids school gave them a free dress day (normally they wear uniforms) but only if they dressed in either blue or red. Here are my kids this morning before school.

Okay I am done now but that was fun for me!

So before any of you Ute fans get all up in my face: yes University of Utah has a fantastic medical school and has graduated some great doctors who have done many wonderful things. Including deliver 4 of my children. There are you happy :)

Now on to the free stuff!!

Forever ago I won Anna's "Pay It Forward" blog giveaway. The one rule that came winning was that I needed to do my own give away of some of my favorite things. Since we were neighbors at the time I won the giveaway, I got all kinds of yummy fresh goodies. I so enjoyed them!!

So I am officially "Paying It Forward" and passing on to my winner some of my favorite things. All the things in my giveaway are made in Utah. I love them all!! To win all you have to do is leave me a comment and promise that if you win you will also do a give away of some of your favorite things!

The first picture is pancake mix and Raspberry syrup from the Lehi Roller Mills. The roller mills are famous from Footloose the movie. It is where Ren works and where they have the dance at the end of the movie. (It has been there for like 108 years!!)

We then have Fry sauce. As far as I know this is a Utah thing -- I could be wrong but I have never seen it anywhere else. You use it just like ketchup -- it can be addicting :)

Then comes my favorite of all the products in my give away. Carmel Pecan Sauce. I suggest eating it on top of cream cheese with granny smith apples. Or just eat it right out of the jar! My addiction is completely Kati's fault.

Gourmet hot chocolate. 'Tis the season for yummy chocolate goodness.

And finally a super cute sign I bought at a local boutique. I will tell you up front I had this in my old house but I just can't find a good place for it in this house. So yes it is used but it only hung a wall :)
